Includes an interview with the great Jesse Owens(a look back at his fabled career), as well as: Filbert Bayi, Mike Boit, Jim Bolding, Reynaldo Brown, Valeriy Borzov, Dick Buerkle, James Butts, Ivory Crockett, Eamonn Coghlan, Fred Dixon, Al Feuerbach, Jane Frederick, Paul Geis, Harvey Glance, Franklin Jacobs, Bruce Jenner, Alberto Juantorena, Francie Larrieu, Marty Liquori, Edwin Moses, Al Oerter, Brian Oldfield, Arnie Bobinson, Bill Rodgers, Henry Rono, Jim Ryun, Kate Schmidt, Steve Scott, Mike Shine, Frank Shorter, Tommie Smith and Lee Evans, Peter Snell, Dwight Stones, John Walker, Mac Wilkins, Rick Wohlhuter, and Vladimir Yashchekno. Each interview was originally published in the magazine, and each is illustrated with a black-and-white photo or two.
