Description
This circular is the second report on the farm mortgage experience of life insurance companies and is intended to supplement and bring up-to-date information contained in South Dakota Experiment Station Circular 7. Since life insurance companies are the most important source of farm mortgage credit in South Dakota, it is important that information on their experience be made available. This information should be valuable both as a basis for a future loaning policy and as a background for the solution of South Dakota's present serious farm mortgage problem.
