Varieties of small grains currently grown by farmers, newer releases not widely in use, and experimental strains being evaluated for possible release were in the performance trials in 1966. The trials were conducted at seven locations in South Dakota, under the supervision of the Crop Performance Testing Activity, Agricultural Experiment Station.
