This is the 1983 progress report for the Central Crops and Soils Research Station at Highmore, South Dakota State College. This document represents the research conducted at the Station during the 1983 crop season including: weather data, crop roation, hay haylage and silage production, plant introduction, safflower trials, small grain trials, tests of winter wheats, crop experiments, grass and legume forage crop yield trials, chickpea research, tree and shrub evaluation, ram test station results, and soil survey of Highmore Station.
