General instructions for view output data for the paper of "Comparison of fire radiative power estimates from VIIRS and MODIS observations", which is submitted to “Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres. ####################################################################### The output data sets include all data used to generate nine Figures (Figure 1 - Figure 12). The output data sets have five data formats, including CSV (*.csv) or Excel Sheet (*.xlsx) or GeoTIFF (*.tif) or ESRI Shapefile (*.shp) or Grid raster data (*.grd). All data sets are compressed into gzip-format files (*.gz). The compressed gzip files can be decompressed using most commonly used compressing softwares (i.e., 7zip in Windows, and gzip in Linux) We recommend the following softwares to view these data. 1. Microsoft office excel for viewing CSV (*.csv) and Excel Sheet (*.xlsx) files. 2. Image processing softwares (i.e., Harris Geospatial's ENVI) for viewing GeoTIFF (*.tif) files. 3. ESRI ArcMap for viewing ESRI Shapefile (*.shp). 4.
