The Writing on the Wall: Exploring Student Experiences with Public Speaking Anxiety
Speaking anxiety remains as a significant barrier to student success within our communication courses. A wealth of research on speaking anxiety and the corresponding treatments has provided an opportunity to reduce student anxiety through classroom activities. This active learning GIFTS activity utilizes cognitive modification as a frame for understanding, discussing, and evaluating public speaking anxiety.
