Abstract

This Quarto workshop is an hands-on session designed to introduce participants to the powerful features of Quarto for creating dynamic, multi-format documents. During the workshop, attendees learn how to integrate code, data, and narrative to produce reports, presentations, blogs, and websites. Participants explore the basics of setting up Quarto projects, embedding code chunks in multiple languages (e.g., R, Python, Julia), and generating outputs in formats like HTML, PDF, and Word. We will use the materials created by Andrew Bray (https://github.com/gexijin/quarto) If time permits, we will cover some basic version control and collaboration using GitHub.
