Abstract
In essence the purpose of this thesis is to determine the feasibility of controlling the Lake Poinsett surface elevation. The major objectives of the study were:
1. To weigh and evaluate the major factors that effect the water level of Lake Poinsett, 2. To determine a range of possible control elevations of the water surface, and,
3. To investigate a series of structures that could be used to control the fl ow in the natural outlet channel .
