For example, each bushel of spring or winter wheat will take up, in addition to the secondary and trace elements needed, the equivalent of approximately 2.4, .8, and 1.9 lbs of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P2O5), and potassium (K2O) in the plant and grain.
