Abstract

Advice given to South Dakota wheat farmers to not increase production as it was believed that the war in Europe would not affect wheat production there and production in the United States was to continue to be large. These factors would keep wheat prices low. It does go on to discuss the increase in the United States’ defense budget and its impact on unemployment and need for farm products such a wool.
