Project Description / Known Impact
These two federal nutrition education programs focused on helping low-income youth, families, and seniors increase their knowledge in the following areas: food security, food resource management, food safety, physical activity, and diet quality.
USDA-AFRI Smith-Lever funds and USDA- Food & Nutrition Service, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (funds provided to SDSU through the SD Department of Social Services)
