Description
This publication contains material that supplements data and analysis in South Dakota Experiment Station Technical Bulletin 30. It is necessary to examine a copy of that publication to follow the material in this publication. The material in this publication is composed of the scales and questions that were selected and developed for analysis of Farmers Home Administration and Production Credit Association borrowers. The presentation also includes statistical coefficients and, where involved, specific methodology used in developing new scales. In the first three sections of this publication questions comprising validated scales are presented with questions and new scales which were developed from the original scales. New scales were developed from significant differences on individual questions between the criterion groups: Farmers Home Administration borrowers who were successful in increasing their net worth from 1960 through 1964, those who were unsuccessful, and Production Credit Association borrowers.
