Description
A thorough investigation of the efficiency of producing pigs at different seasons of the year is reported in this bulletin which summarizes the results of an experiment designed to (1) compare the efficiency of early and late spring-farrowed pigs, summer-farrowed pigs, (2) compare the efficiency of gilts and second-litter sows and (3) compare the efficiency of the one-litter farrowing system with the two-litter farrowing system.
