This is the 1973 progress report for the James Valley Agricultural Research and Extension Center. The reports in this document represent the research conducted at the Center during 1972. The report includes weather data, Corn and grain sorghum performance trials, herbicide demonstration reports and screening, reclamation and improvement of solodized solonetz soils, irrigation water management practices for crop production, potato projects, soybean breeding and testing, drainage experiments and water quality, information on feedlot cattle, alfalfa harvesting methods, and irrigation equipment and water distribution.
