Abstract
The objectives of this study were to (a) determine the patient's rating of their pain, (b) find out the patient's expectation of the nurse's rating of their pain, (c) determine the nurse's rating of the patient's pain and (d) specify when the last communication regarding pain occurred between the patient and the nurse.
