Abstract
This study explores the quality of life issues among rural breast cancer survivors (5 years or longer). This is a replicated study from an original study conducted by Wyatt, Kurtz and Liken (1993). The data revealed four major themes consistent with the original study. They are: integration of disease process into current life, change in relationship with others, restructuring of life perspective and unresolved issues. The data will be added to the original study to increase validity and be utilized for the development of a quantitative instrument.
