Abstract
The objectives of this study were to:
1. Describe selected personal and professional characteristics of the nurses;
2. Describe the nurses' level of knowledge of selected pain management concepts;
3. Describe the nurses' levels of misconceptions regarding selected pain management concepts;
4. Determine whether there is a significant relationship between the nurses' levels of misconceptions regarding selected pain management concepts and the nurses' age and the nurses' hospital unit of employment.
