Abstract
Compare the level of satisfaction between the service-connected and nonservice-connected patient with the selected hospital nursing care behaviors (technical professional, trust, and education) when considering age, gender, income, level of education, and marital status.
2. Determine which nursing care behaviors are associated with high levels of patient satisfaction.
3. Determine which nursing care behaviors are associated with low levels of patient satisfaction.
4. Describe the veteran patient's beliefs related to future hospitalization at this VAMC, recommendation of this VAMC to other veterans, satisfaction with nursing care during hospitalization, and strong and weak aspects of the VAMC where the study took place.
