Abstract
The purpose of this descriptive replication study was to describe the medical, psychologic, social, and vocational needs of adult persons with multiple sclerosis (MS) living in a midwestem frontier area and to compare them to the perceived needs of individuals with MS living in western Washington state. Telephone interviews using the University of Washington's Questionnaire on medical and social service needs of individuals with multiple sclerosis were used. Further questions developed by the investigator related specifically to frontier issues were also used.
