Abstract
Student evaluations of teachers have been used at the university level since the start of the twentieth century. This qualitative study examines nursing students' practices regarding completion of instructor evaluations. Eleven RNs' were interviewed for this study and the participants had all graduated within 24 months of the study and had completed student evaluations of faculty. The results of the study indicated a need for further studies to be completed on the subject, possible change in the evaluation tool and process, and the need for education of faculty and students regarding the evaluation process.
