Description

Many homeowners are alarmed at what appears to be an early case of fall color and leaf drop on their shade trees, particularly on green ash, hackberry and maple throughout eastern South Dakota. Homeowners may think it is just a sign that fall is on its way, but the problem could be more complex; affected trees should be examined to determine the cause of the color change.
