Description

The purpose of this publication is to help South Dakota farmers avoid being caught in another costly mortgage foreclosure epidemic sometime after the present War has ended. In order to save themselves from such a violent debt reduction by foreclosure as a result of a possible after-the-War drop in prices of farm products, it may be advisable not to go heavily into debt for land after land prices may have risen beyond normal or prospective long-time values based on conservative income expectations from the land.
