Summary
Two hundred eighty-eight Hereford, Angus and Hereford-Angus steers averaging 640 lb initially were fed for 124 days to determine the effects on performance when fed low protein finishing diets supplemented with various sources of protein. The supplements differed in nitrogen solubility and amino acid composition.
