Summary
This is the Second Annual Sheep Field Day report issued by the South Dakota State College Animal Husbandry Department. The document contains reports on: sheep improvement, ram performance and progeny test, nitrate poisoning, grazing trials with lambs on different alfalfa varieties, artificial rumen usage in determining digestibility of forage and other feeds, fattening of fattening lambs to diethylstilbestrol and diallylstilbestrol and winter feeding and summer grazing studies with range ewes.
