Description
This is a report on a mobile, distribution trailer for injection of dry granular material constructed at South Dakota State University. The dry applicator trailer can be used for side dressing during row cultivation and deep banding of dry granules while chisel plowing. The distribution trailer is able to be connected to various tillage implements through use of a ball and socket hitch. The description and operation of the distribution trailer is contained within this report. A section of the report describes a future adaptation of the distribution trailer for use in a study on varying the rates of fertilizer using controlled traffic lanes.
