Description
These spring and fall dates have been determined each year for 58 Weather Bureau stations of South Dakota for each of the three temperatures of 24°, 28° and 32° F. Since publication in a single mimeograph pamphlet would be bulky, three mimeograph reports have been prepared one for each of the three above temperatures showing last spring and first fall dates on which such temperature occurred as well as the number of days each year between these dates. Average of spring and fall dates as well as average number of days between these dates are shown at the end of each table. Average number of days between last spring and first fall dates of 28° F or lower for each station are shown on the following map of South Dakota.
