Description
The purpose of this study was to attempt to find a pattern in the complex changes that have taken place in the trade centers and farm areas of South Dakota during the last 50 years. It is hoped that a knowledge of these trends will help farmers, businessmen, and civic leaders understand the limitations and possibilities of their communities, and that this knowledge will encourage better relations between towns and their trade areas.
