Description
This progress report summarizes the research conducted at the Cottonwood, Presho, Buffalo, and Newell substations of the South Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station. The area of each of the substations has its own specific problems or differences as far as agricultural production is concerned, but they also have some similar problems. These four stations are west of the Missouri River in widely scattered locations. Results shown are not necessarily complete nor conclusive. Interpretations given are tentative because additional data resulting from continuation of these experiments may result in conclusions different from those based on any one year.
