Description
A total of seventy-four hybrids and named tomato varieties were tested by the Horticulture Department at South Dakota State College in 1948. The planting consisted of twenty-four Station hybrids, ten Station hybrids, twelve seedling selections, three commercial hybrids, and twenty-five named varieties obtained from commercial sources. A part of the same were tested at Yankton, South Dakota.
