Description
This study has made possible by the State and Federal Works Projects Administration Cooperating with the South Dakota Agricultural experiment Station. The project is officially designated as W.P.A. Project No. 465-74-3-235. The material contained in this pamphlet was prepared for and presented by request before a special Congressional Committee investigating the interstate migration of destitute citizens. A special hearing for the Middle Western States was held before the above Committee on September 16-17, 1940, in Courtroom No.2 at the state Capital, Lincoln, Nebraska.
