Abstract
Mexico's healthcare system has been largely ignored in the healthcare reform debate. Nonetheless, our southern neighbor, like Canada, has long made available publicly funded healthcare to all but the very isolated. Nurse administrators can improve the quality of care given to Mexican immigrants by learning about their complex, comprehensive healthcare system and the ways it is accessed.
