Workshop description:
This workshop will begin with a brief introduction to Jupyter Notebooks. Next will be a detailed look into Python syntax and programming in base Python, followed by detailed walkthroughs of the data analysis and manipulation package “Pandas” as well as the data visualization and graphing package “Plotly”.
Outline of workshop:
1. Introduction to Jupyter Notebooks and base Python
2. Live coding and walkthrough of Pandas and Plotly
Workshop instructions:
1. Bring laptops
2. No prior knowledge to Python is needed
3. Prior installation of the open source Python distribution platform “Anaconda”
