Abstract
There is growing demand for clean energy resources globally. Countries, cities and utilities have made pledges to eventually eliminate all CO2 emitting resources from their power generation portfolios. But how is this possible? We will discuss potential pathways to decarbonization that will ensure the reliability of the power system and minimize the burden on consumers during the transition. Those in attendance should expect to walk away with high-level understanding of:
1. Power system modeling
2. Renewable energy sources
3. Energy Storage technologies
4. Grid stability
