Poultry building constructed of rammed earth on the campus of South Dakota State College, this type of construction was an experiment construction technique investigated by the Cooperative Extension Service in the 1920 and 1930s, this 1,872. building houses a small workshop area, the sign next to it reads 'Experimental Rammed Earth Poultry House Agricultural Engineering Department & Poultry Husbandry Department Cooperating'
