Description

Dr. Igor Melnykov is originally from Kharkiv, Ukraine. He moved to the United States in 1999 and earned his Ph.D. in Statistics from Bowling Green State University in 2005. He works in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Minnesota – Duluth and previously held positions at Colorado State University – Pueblo and Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan. His research interests include cluster analysis, classification, multiple hypothesis testing, and asymptotic theory.
