The English and Interdisciplinary Studies department offers the Bachelor of Arts degree with specializations in English, English Education, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Writing, as well as the Master of Arts degree in English, which can be earned either on campus or online. In addition, we offer undergraduate minors in English and Professional Writing. Our faculty specialize in British and American literature, juvenile literature, ethnic literature, women’s writing, creative writing, rhetoric, composition, professional and technical writing, legal writing, publishing and editing, literary and cultural theory, film studies, and peace and conflict studies.
