Abstract
The problem of success or failure of college students in various courses and subjects, has led to considerable thought and study among persons responsible for the guidance of college students and of high-school graduates about to enter college. Even a casual observer will rapidly admit that many students in our colleges fall by the wayside. A large number do poorer work than it seems should be expected of them.
