Abstract
Miss Keller recognizes the blind man's capacity for training. She feels that it is the duty of the public to assist the visually handicapped in developing their abilities to the fullest extent. Recreation is one phase of this development. If the residential schools for the blind and the public are given the information to assist in this development and if they take an active part in helping the blind, the blind will have a better chance to live normal, well-adjusted lives in our complex society.
