Abstract
Among the insect pests that infest cattle two of the common ones are Hypoderma lineatum and Hypoderma bovis. In the larval stage they are more commonly known as grubs, warbles, or wolves, while in the adult stage they are both known as the heel fly, ox-warble fly of gadfly.
