Abstract
At the present time Harding County is on the possible verge of changes that would affect the basic economic, social, educational, and political structure of the county. No one knows what the discovery of commercial quantities of oil and uranium might bring about it is reasonable to assume that any such changes would affect educational problems and policies in the county. This possibility makes it important that an evaluation of the present status of education in the county should be made now. The people of the county, themselves, feel the time is here for an evaluation of their educational system as shown by their organization of a committee to study school district reorganization during the past year.
