Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explain and demonstrate how linear programming can be applied to faculty evaluation and how this approach cane be interpreted mathematically. This contention will be developed through a mathematical oriented survey of existing job evaluation methods, a discussion of relevant linear programming methods, models, construction of a mathematical model for faculty evaluation, and a numerical example demonstrating the us of the model.
