Abstract
The studies described herein represent a preliminary effort toward developing an effective and economic method for controlling odors from anaerobic lagoons. The objectives of this investigation were: 1. To determine experimentally the effectiveness of various materials in reducing odors resulting from anaerobic treatment of wastewater. 2. To provide a recommendation concerning the thickness of the most effective materials for use as a cover to reduce odors from anaerobic lagoons.
