Abstract
The research presented herewith was undertaken to define more accurately the design components for the distribution system. The specific objectives of this research are as follows: 1. To investigate the discharge characteristics for nonregulating bored outlets. 2. To determine the factors influencing the uniformity of discharge of outlets spaced along the pipe. 3. To determine criteria for the design of the distribution banks. 4. To evaluate the operating characteristics of distribution banks under field conditions.
