Abstract
This study is part of a comprehensive experiment designed to identify various factors affecting genetic and environmental trends over time of centrally tested boars. This particular study contained three objectives: first, to evaluate performance trends of boars of specific breeds tested at the South Dakota Swine Test Station; second, to quantify genetic, environmental and phenotypic changes over time; and third, to evaluate genetic and phenotypic correlations in performance of central test boars.
