Abstract

The objectives of theses studies were to: 1) determine the effects of various rates of ethephon on shoots, roots, root bud growth, and total nonstructural carbohydrates of shoots and roots. 2) determine the effects of various lengths of time of flooding on shoot and root growth, root bud growth, and total nonstructural carbohydrates of shoots and roots. 3) determine the effect of a recovery period from flooding on the shoot and root growth, root bud growth, and total nonstructural carbohydrates in the root and shoot of leafy spurge.
