Abstract
The general objective of the proposed research is to analyze the differences in average wages in South Dakota. Specific objectives are: 1. To analyze the differences in the average wages of highly unionized South Dakota industries relative to nonunion industries, and 2. To identify the relationship between industry mean wages in South Dakota and the overall mean wages in the United states. 3. To identify the relationship between South Dakota industry union differentials relation to the overall industry union differential across the United states.
