Abstract

This design paper presents the design and implementation of a report generator for DakStats 2000, which supports a number of reports. DakStats 2000 will support single-game reports and multiple-game reports. The objective of this design paper is to implement reports for sports informatio n. C++ is the main design language in this paper. SQL, HTML, and Visual C++ are used for the following: • Resource editor for interface creation • Database connection for storing statistics • Web-ready files for viewing web browser In addition, sports information directors, coaches, and players will be interested in the game summary printouts and cumulative season statistics printouts. The printouts will include a hard copy of statistics as well as text and HTML files for distribution.
