What, if any, experiences in Keillor's life and/or career influenced the creation of the selected monologues? 2. To what extent does Keillor utilize the metaphor in the four selected monologues? 3. To what extent are the metaphors dependent upon contextual qualifiers? 4. To what extent are the metaphors dependent upon communal qualifiers? 5. To what extent are the metaphors dependent upon private qualifiers? 6. To what extent are the metaphors dependent upon archetypal qualifiers? 7. What, if any, relationship exists between Keillor, his audience, and his words?
