Abstract
In response to the potential problems caused by precipitates formed through chemical reactions during artificial recharge, the objectives of this study were: 1) To experimentally simulate the ground water-injectate water quality interactions at the reaction front through the use of column studies, and 2) to theoretically simulate resulting equilibrium conditions of ground water-injectate mixtures utilizing a computerized geochemical equilibrium model.
