Description

"A good parent prepares his child to walk alone." One can think a lot about that reply. It's really not too much different from saying, "We would never need to learn to walk if we were always carried, as infants are." It is a wise parent who teaches his child how to make decisions for himself. It gives him the true form of self-confidence since he is able to find his way through difficulties. Children, just like adults, grow in admiration for people who help them to discover what they can do.
